Community Health Investments Grant Program

The Owensboro Health Community Health Investments Grant Program provides financial assistance to nonprofit organizations, governmental or public entities who are working to address identified priority health issues and those social determinants of health that impact the health and health outcomes of our community. Organizations requesting grant funding should review one or more local community health needs assessments and/or community health improvement plans to substantiate their request. All activities must serve individuals within the defined Owensboro Health service area.

Owensboro Health seeks and supports partnerships to impact the significant health issues facing our communities. As tobacco use is a factor related to multiple health issues in our region and state, it is our decision to make opportunities for investments to those organizations, like Owensboro Health, which have committed to establishing and implementing 100 percent tobacco-free policies.

It is required that all applicants to our Community Health Investments Grant Programs (both large and mini-grants) show evidence of a 100 percent tobacco-free policy.
