Refresher Childbirth Class
The Refresher Class is designed for expectant Mothers and coaches who have previously attended classes and want just a one class review of the labor & delivery process. Tour of Maternity Services at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital to be taken separately.
Topics include and many vary based on expectant Mother's request for refresher information- When to call the doctor, Preterm Labor, Onset & stages of labor, Comfort measures & positioning, Breathing & relaxation exercises, Pain relief medications, Medical Interventions, Cesarean birth / Anesthesia Includes: Emphasis on Coach's Role, Activities to Facilitate Learning, and Up-to-date Hospital Policies.
Classes held in New Life Education Center located in Ford Medical Office Building, Suite 408. Use entrance by Convenient Care on corner of Mayfair & Ford Ave. Take elevator to 4th floor, on your right.
