Foundation Events

The Owensboro Health Foundation For Health invites you to join one of our many signature events. These events provide an opportunity to support our Foundation, and in turn support healthy living in Owensboro and our 11-county service area. We appreciate your support and welcome you to mark your calendar for our upcoming events.

Annual Events

• Annual Gala – The annual black-tie Gala is held every November. Festivities have included a cocktail hour, gourmet dinner, live and silent auctions, live bands, painter-performers, dancing and conversation, with themes like 70s disco or cowboy/western. Proceeds benefit funds that are determined yearly by The Foundation.
• Annual Golf Classic – The annual golf scramble is held every June to benefit and support community health-related projects.
• Lights For Life - Lights For Life is the Foundation For Health's annual holiday season fundraiser. This year's campaign will feature a wreath auction and tree-lighting ceremony on December 3, 2012. Learn more about Lights for Life.

Causes We Support

• Baby Boxes -  Basic baby care supplies for new moms in need. Read about the Baby Boxes program. 
• Care Bears for Kids – Providing stuffed animal companions for children facing surgery and emergency procedures. Read about Care Bears for Kids.
• Touched By Cancer Scholarship - The Touched By Cancer scholarship fund was established to provide educational assistance for students who have received a cancer diagnosis at some point in their lives
