From staffing the patient information desk, to delivering flowers, to playing a crucial role as liaison between families and the medical staff in our surgery waiting areas.
How to Volunteer
To begin, download and complete the Volunteer Services Application, listing your background and areas of interest. When completed, return it to the Volunteer Services office at the Owensboro Health Parrish Avenue location.

Teen Volunteers
From staffing the patient information desk, to delivering flowers, to playing a crucial role as liaison between families and the medical staff in our surgery waiting areas.
Think you’d like to spend some of your summer helping others? How about working on teams with other teens at Owensboro Health? If that sounds interesting, then apply to the Owensboro Health VolunTeen Program. As a VolunTeen, you’ll have a truly rewarding experience on your summer break.
The work will be widely varied and will expose you to both clinical on non-clinical areas of Owensboro Health. The program runs from the last week in May through the end of July, and work schedules are flexible.
Volunteer Services begins accepting applications for the VolunTeen Summer Program on March 1 of each year. To apply, download the VolunTeen Program Application. When you’ve completed the application, please return it to the Volunteer Services office at the Owensboro Health Parrish Avenue location or mail it to us at the following address:
