Biography

Owensboro Health’s One Health medical group is proud to welcome a new provider, with board-certified general surgeon Dr. Eduardo Gonzales bringing surgical care to Muhlenberg County.

Dr. Gonzales is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry. He then attended medical school at Wake Forest University and completed internship and residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dr. Gonzales said at all times he wants patients to feel that they’re getting the highest quality care possible.

“It's an honor to be called on to alleviate suffering, to provide a cure when possible,” Dr. Gonzales said. “I like to be able to give to the patient a good experience. You have to provide good outcomes, and that's what we want to provide to people, at a good cost.”
