Promoting Healthy Hearts and Rehabilitation
The physicians and healthcare professionals at Green River Heart are working to expand heart care services for Owensboro Health patients throughout western Kentucky and southern Indiana. Our team specializes in minimally-invasive procedures and in helping our local communities learn how to live a heart-healthy lifestyle.
Owensboro Health acquired Green River Heart in 2010, but the two organizations have a long history of collaborative efforts to promote heart health. Our list of programs includes HeartFit (cardiac rehabilitation)and Cooper Clayton (smoking cessation).
“We have been fortunate to work with Owensboro Health the last several years on a number of quality improvement projects that have led to better care for heart patients,” said Dr. Roshan K. Mathew, a cardiologist at Green River Heart.
