What We Do
- Gynecology is the treatment of women's reproductive health.
- Obstetrics is medical care for women during pregnancy and just after the baby is born.
As combination OB-Gyns, we are trained in both specialties. It is important that pregnant women receive quality prenatal care throughout their term. An obstetrician monitors the health of mother and baby and serves as a valuable resouce for medical and nutritional information during the course of a woman's pregnancy.
It is also important that all women, beginning in their teenage years, receive regular gynecological care. Menopause, pregnancy, contraception, infertility, and reproductive health are just a few of the issues gynecologists treat. We also help detect and prevent many serious diseases, including potentially life-threatening cancers.
