Owensboro Health is working to keep children healthy through its affiliation with Kosair Children's Hospital, recently ranked among the "Best Children's Hospitals" by U.S.News & World Report.
Specialists from the University of Louisville Pediatrics and Norton Healthcare come to Owensboro to treat children who require specialty care.
Children living in the Owensboro region can see pediatricians specializing in heart disease as well as acute illnesses and disorders that affect the brain, glands or a number of organs in the body. The partnership also includes a neonatal follow-up clinic for infants who have been discharged from the Owensboro Health neonatal intensive care unit.
