Our case managers work with patients to help them afford the treatments they need. Each patient's financial circumstances are carefully evaluated to see what adjustments he or she may be eligible to receive. In some cases, patients may even be eligible for a complete write-off.

MMCC also offer other sources of financial assistance.

  • Transportation grants are available to reduce the cost of travel for those who cannot afford transportation to their treatments.
  • A medication fund by the Owensboro Health Foundation is available for patients in need of temporary assistance for home medications to manage the side effects of chemotherapy or radiation after all other available resources have been exhausted.
  • Free mammogram screenings can be provided to financially challenged patients through a grant from the Susan G. Komen Foundation Greater Evansville Affiliate.
