Owensboro Health Regional Hospital
1201 Pleasant Valley Road
Dr. Zerr graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine and spent four years completing her residency and working in Louisville before moving to Owensboro. She is excited to be part of the Owensboro Health team as they work to provide the best possible care for children.
Dr. Zerr focuses on the motto, “Communication is key.” She says good communication between the patient, family and medical team provides a partnership that allows for excellent patient care.
She is from Shelbyville, Indiana and looks forward to learning more about Owensboro. She enjoys hiking with family (including her 1-year old labradoodle), exploring small towns and trying new coffee shops.
“Being a pediatrician is the perfect blend of teaching, advocating for children and practicing medicine,” she said. “I meet my patients at a very stressful and scary time for them and their families. Taking care of someone’s child is a great honor, and I appreciate the opportunity to meet families and explain every step of their child’s hospitalization to decrease some of their fears. Watching children walk out of the hospital when they are feeling better is the best part of my job.”
