Scott Hall, RDN, LD is a registered dietitian working with Owensboro Health Surgical Weight Loss Program. He graduated cum laude from Western Kentucky University with dual degrees in Nutrition and Dietetics, and in Biology. Scott completed his dietetic internship through Murray State University, and is currently completing a Master’s Degree in Nutrition Science.
Scott has provided clinical nutrition support, medical nutrition therapy, education, and counseling to individuals for a wide range of health concerns. He is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Kentucky Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the American Society for Nutrition. Scott maintains a commitment to understanding current research in health and nutrition to promote well-informed, evidence-based decisions supporting diet and lifestyle.
As a member of Owensboro Health’s Surgical Weight Loss Program, Scott provides nutrition counseling and guidance to clients considering, and preparing for bariatric surgery. He believes in providing clients with powerful tools that empower weight loss efforts, and promote optimal health with permanent lifestyle changes.
