Prepared Childbirth Saturday Series
This live virtual class will be taught with an instructor via WebEx until we can resume in-person classes. A virtual tour is offered via WebEx during the class. All registrants who sign up for this class will receive more information via email.
During this three-night series or two-morning series of classes, you and your support person will learn about:
- Preparing for Labor
- Pregnancy warning signs
- Onset of Labor
- When to go to the Hospital
- Active Labor through Birth
- Labor and pushing positions for birth
- Comfort techniques
- Tips for partners
- Medical procedures during Active Labor through birth
- Epidural/Spinal Anesthesia
- Cesarean birth
- Recovery and postpartum
The Baby Care & Safety Class and the Breastfeeding Class information are NOT covered in the Prepared Childbirth Class. Those classes are offered on separate dates. Hands-on Comfort Workshop for hands-on practice of breathing, relaxation, and comfort techniques also available.

Recommended for Mom & support person between 28-36 weeks of pregnancy. Other classes recommended during this time are the Breastfeeding Class and the Baby Care Safety Class. The Hands-on Comfort Workshop is also recommended to take after the Prepared Childbirth Class Series.
