75 Years - 75 Ties - $7,500 to support Owensboro Health Foundation

Please join us December 10th at 10 a.m. at Adams & Sons Men’s Fine Clothiers located at 401 W. 2nd St. #105, Owensboro, KY 42301 (inside the Hampton Inn & Suites) for a $7,500 check presentation to Owensboro Health Foundation.

Local retailer Adams & Sons Men’s Fine Clothiers just completed the sale of 75 exclusively designed ties depicting the Blue Bridge. The ties were designed and sold in honor of the 75th Anniversary of the Owensboro Blue Bridge and proceeds benefit Owensboro Health Foundation.

The Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce purchased the first tie and Mayor Ron Payne presented this tie to Governor Beshear when he visited the Kentucky League of Cities conference at the Owensboro Convention Center in September.

Proceeds from the sale are being donated by Adams & Sons to Owensboro Health Foundation to help meet the needs of patients who are less fortunate. Adams & Sons’ donation will help pay for expenses such as travel, lodging and medical costs for those individuals.

Since its inception, Owensboro Health Foundation has supported numerous projects impacting the lives of the people in our region. In 2014, more than 8,000 of our area’s family members, friends and neighbors benefited through programs funded by this foundation.
