One Health @ Work Brings E3H Event to Madisonville Employers

OWENSBORO, KY (September 29, 2015) – One Health @ Work will host a free E3H employer education event on September 30, 2015, with discussions focused around how healthy employees help build healthy communities.

The E3H event will be held at the Madisonville-Hopkins County Economic Development Building and will last from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Lunch and refreshments will be provided during the event. The sessions will feature speakers including, Kelly Schlachter, director of Employer Health Services with One Health @ Work, Mark McAnulty, Partner and Attorney at KDDK and Becky Pearson with Warrior Coal.

The agenda includes the following topics:

  • The history of FMLA and the medical perspective
  • Lessons from real clients and best practices for handling FMLA cases
  • Panel discussion & questions
