Future innovators visit Owensboro Health Regional Hospital

Students from Estes Elementary School in Owensboro got to visit Owensboro Health Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 21, getting a look behind the scenes at operations of the hospital. The students, part of the Innovations Grant Program with Owensboro Public Schools, got to visit the Emergency Department, laboratory, facilities and see an Air Evac helicopter land at the hospital.

Estes Elementary students also got a chance to step through the helicopter
during their Tuesday tour. 

One Estes student volunteered to be a "patient" for part of the tour.
