New food option available at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital

A new grill option is available at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital and all patrons of the Café are encouraged to give it a try.

Grill Nation is a contemporary dining option offering custom-made creations and short-order comfort foods. The program is now open in the Café during lunch hours, which are listed below.

“Customers are given full creative control of their meal,” said Sarah Denton, associate director of Morrison at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. “Our customizable burger menu offers a long list of premium ingredients, allowing for numerous combinations.”

Denton said Grill Nation offers fresh, quality food prepared and served to the customers’ specifications in a fast and efficient manner. The customizable burger menu means customers can choose their type of patty and all desired components, including buns, cheeses, toppings and sauces. Customers can also order sides, including kettle chips, pasta salad or creamy coleslaw, which is made fresh daily.

Denton also said Grill Nation isn’t just about focusing on the quality of your food, but also on time. Grill Nation allows placement of an order and leaving the line, freeing up customers to go to other areas of the Café to shop. Customers are then notified when their order is ready.

“We have eliminated the line so you can spend your time getting what you need and want,” Denton said.

All customers need to do is fill out the order sheet with their selections and turn it in to the cook at the grill station. When the order is ready, the cooks will call the customer’s name and the customer can then select their side order.

Grill Nation in the Café at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.
