Owensboro Health And Owensboro Regional Farmers’ Market Partner For Back To School Event

Owensboro Health is hosting a Back to School Celebration at Owensboro Regional Farmers’ Market on July 30th. The event will be held at 1325 Triplett Street in Owensboro from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon.

In addition to healthy fruits, vegetables and farmers’ market booths, Owensboro Health will be providing the following activities, 

  • Live music for the whole family to enjoy
  • Face painting
  • Hop on the exploration bus from the Daviess County Public Schools (DCPS) for interactive summer learning
  • Free bike safety information and helmets (while supplies last)
  • Healthy lunch recipes for packing a better school lunch
  • Better bites snack tips for healthy snacking
  • Free giveaways (while supplies last) to prepare students for a successful first day

The Farmers’ market is held every Wednesday, from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. through the end of August at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, as well as every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to noon through the end of October at the Triplett Street location.
