The Doc Is In: Preventing Colon Cancer

Owensboro Health is proud to announce a new educational event series, which will give attendees the chance to learn more about timely health topics and ask questions of medical providers.

The Doc Is In: Preventing Colon Cancer will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8. The event will be held at the Owensboro Health Healthpark, located at 1006 Ford Avenue. The speaker for the event will be Wissam Bleibel, MD, a board certified gastroenterologist with Owensboro Health’s One Health medical group. Dr. Bleibel will share information about digestive health and preventing and screening for colorectal cancer.

In addition to the information shared, attendees will have a chance to ask Dr. Bleibel questions related to his specialty. A healthy lunch will be provided at the event, which will also include games, prizes and free tours of the Healthpark. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
