Senator Mitch McConnell, President and CEO Greg Strahan, Chief Medical Officer Francis DuFrayne, MD, and pulmonologist Dr. Brad Brasher discussed the CARES Act and its impact on Kentucky and Owensboro Health. The Healthpark Fitness Center will reopen on June 1 and the safety of our members and staff are top priority. Services will restart in phases and everyone must adhere to physical distancing standards and overall capacity will be limited. There will be a one-hour time limit for each visitor, everyone must have their temperature checked upon entry and extra cleaning processes will take place. Visitors will not be required to wear a mask while working out, but may choose to in common areas. For those that fall within the vulnerable populations identified by the CDC, we ask that you continue to be healthy at home. Because of reduced services and capacity limitations, June membership will be discounted by 50%. If you would like to freeze your membership, please call Membership Services at 270-688-5433 by June 1. As additional services reopen or guidelines change, we will keep you updated through the website and Healthpark Facebook page.

Unless required for training or education for staff or to ensure confidentiality, in-person meetings are currently not recommended. This guidance will be re-evaluated prior to July 1, 2020.
