Owensboro Health Will Match Portion of Disaster Relief Contributions
Across the Owensboro Health system, our hearts are saddened by the tragic devastation in our communities after the weekend’s tornado outbreak. Owensboro Health is ready to assist our team members and to help our communities begin the process of healing and rebuilding.
To aid in the recovery of our communities, Owensboro Health will match a portion of disaster relief donations made at OwensboroHealth.org/TornadoRelief. Owensboro Health Foundation will meet internal grant requests as we help the region recover.
Internally, the health system has activated the HOPE Fund for team members directly affected by the disaster. The HOPE Fund is a donation-driven program that allows Owensboro Health team members to help their co-workers during a crisis.
Owensboro Health is also developing mini-grants to help nonprofit organizations that are providing tornado relief efforts. Organizations will soon be able to apply for up to $1,000 in funds.
Our continued thoughts and prayers go out to all impacted by this disaster.
