This 12-week program focuses on why smoking becomes a habit and teaches you simple, proven ways to quit.

This free program was developed by Thomas Cooper, D.D.S. and Richard Clayton, Ph.D., and is offered through a partnership between Owensboro Health, Green River District Health Department and Kentucky Cancer Program.

Health Fairs, Lectures, Workshops, and Tours

Educational information about the risk factors that contribute to cardiovascular disease is distributed by Green River Heart at events such as these. Offered throughout the region, these events help educate the public and medical practitioners about preventing the progression and reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Green River Heart will complete forms for FMLA or disability only if the leave is a result of the patient’s cardiac condition.The patient must answer the following questions, sign a release and pay $25 when leaving the required paperwork at Owensboro Health Cardiology.
