Super Hero 5K/Kids Fun Run/Walk

Honor our Super Hero Cancer Survivors! Proceeds will provide assistance, support and resources for the patients of Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center.

Owensboro Health Foundation’s 2024 Super Hero 5K/Kids Fun Run/Walk is community event with three features: a 5K Race, a Kids Fun Run, and a Super Hero Walk. Registrants can participate in one or more of the events and registration information is below.

7:30 a.m. - 5K Race
9 a.m. - Kids Fun Run
11 a.m. - Super Hero Walk & Survivor Parade

• 5K Race – $25 early bird entry fee by September 1, $35 after September 1.
• Kids Fun Run – FREE! The first 200 kids registered receive a t-shirt and medal. Drawings will be held for children’s bicycles and a $500 grant will be given to a local school.
• Super Hero Walk – this is a team event honoring our Super Hero Survivors. Entry fee is $25 per team member. No limit to the amount of members per team. Each team is asked (not required) to raise at least $500 in addition to the entry fee to help support programs and resources for cancer patients at Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center. Teams may participate in honor or in memory of loved ones, co-workers, or friends. The first lap will be for cancer survivors, the second lap will be in honor of caregivers, and the third lap will pay tribute to those we have lost. Survivors will be honored at the walk.
• Prizes will be awarded for each event, and top fundraising individual and team. All registered participants will receive an event T-shirt and will enjoy music, children’s activities, vendors, food and beverages and more! Dress as your favorite super hero!
