Community Support

Our mission is to heal the sick and to improve the health of the communities we serve. Each year, we form partnerships with organizations working to improve and impact our region. The following initiatives demonstrate our commitment to being a strong community partner:

Community Health Investments Grant Program

The Owensboro Health Investments Grant Program provides financial assistance to designated nonprofit organizations, governmental or public entities who are working to address identified community health priorities based on their local community health needs assessments and/or community health improvement plans. Eligible organizations must serve one or more of the following counties: Breckenridge, Butler, Daviess, Edmonson, Grayson, Hancock, Hardin, Hart, Henderson, Hopkins, Logan, Muhlenberg, McLean, Ohio, Union and Webster in Kentucky or Perry / Spencer Counties in Indiana. Owensboro Health Foundation

Owensboro Health Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, established in 1993 as a philanthropic subsidiary of Owensboro Health. Owensboro Health Foundation directs special events and fundraising campaigns and seeks out grant funding to implement and sustain long-term health initiatives that will have the most impact on our community.
The Foundation partners with individuals, corporations, community organizations and other foundations to support a multitude of worthy health initiatives in western Kentucky and southern Indiana.
