"Give Cancer the Boot" will feature a performance by country music artist Cam Thompson and live painting by renowned artist Aaron Kizer on Saturday, November 16 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Grand Stable Venue (7735 KY-144, Philpot, KY 42366). Event proceeds will benefit patients and families of the Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center through the Owensboro Health Foundation.

Purchase Gas at Take 10 Market

Purchase your gas from Take 10 Market at 3281 Hayden Road in Owensboro, Kentucky from October 1 to November 16. During this time frame, Take 10 Market will donate $.10 per gallon of gas sold to the same Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center fund!

Venue Details

The event will be held rain or shine as the band can be indoors. In the event of nice weather we may be able to use outdoor patio space.

Krista Thompson, a brave breast cancer survivor, and her family are hosting this event to give back to the community that supported them during their journey. Krista received exceptional care from the staff at the Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center, and she wants to ensure that others in the Owensboro community can receive the same level of care. Your support at this fundraiser will help provide resources and support for cancer patients in need. Let's come together to make a difference and Give Cancer the Boot.

About Aaron Kizer

Aaron Kizer is an artist born and raised with roots deep in the bluegrass of Owensboro, Kentucky. His paint brush captures the pulse of contemporary culture-celebrating the people and places that his friends, family and community hold dear.

Tickets, Tables & Sponsorships

There will be 45 tables at the event with eight seats at each table. Sponsors and those purchasing full tables will have reserved seating. Sponsorship levels range between $500 to $1000 and include many amenities!

Individual tickets are $35 and will be first come, first served seating.
