A Celebration of Food + Art + Health On-The-Go!
August 6 Event in Leitchfield
In addition to this event, we are planning similar celebrations at various locations throughout the system, titled "A Celebration of Food, Art, and Health On-The-Go." A celebration is scheduled for Wednesday, August 6, from 8 a.m. to noon at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center. The event will occur in the parking lot in front of Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center from the William Thomason Byway Entrance.
The event will feature local farmers' market vendors and include:
- A free tote bag (while supplies last)
- A hands-on art project for all ages
- Fresh produce, homemade goods and more!

September Events in Owensboro
In September, Owensboro Health’s Food + Art + Health On-The-Go! will partner with the Owensboro Regional Farmers' Market to offer fresh fruits and vegetables for purchase at two locations in Owensboro on select dates: Owensboro Health Regional Hospital and the Healthpark.
The Celebration of Food, Art, and Health initiative emphasizes the healing power of the arts while promoting healthy eating. We are excited to announce a series of events that will provide delicious and nutritious options for our team members and the communities we serve!
So, grab a coworker, spread the word to our visitors and join us!
Attendees can expect the following at each event:
