Blakeley McDaniel named Emerging Nurse Leader

Blakeley McDaniel, Manager of Emergency Department at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital was awarded the Kentucky Organization of Nurse Leaders (KONL) Emerging Nurse Leader Award for the Twin Lakes District.

This prestigious nursing award is given to one exceptional nurse leader in each of the four KONL districts. The winners show a commitment to personally and professionally developing in nursing leadership.

McDaniel was awarded the honor at the virtual KONL Fall Conference in October. Cathy Stewart, Director of Medical Surgical Services at OHRH and Director of the KONL Twin Lakes District, presented the award to McDaniel in front of her peers and leadership.
