COVID-19: A Year In Review

One year ago today, Owensboro Health had its first COVID-19 patient. Looking back, we remember how the community rallied around healthcare workers and donated thousands of homemade masks and PPE. We remember how our team members adjusted to new procedures and trying times. And we remember those who fought the virus – celebrating their victories and mourning their losses.

Looking forward, we’re filled with hope. Vaccines are available to end this pandemic and the idea of “normal” days doesn’t seem far out of reach. Anyone age 16 or older can get on the list to be vaccinated today at OwensboroHealth.org/Vaccine, so we can move forward to a healthier tomorrow together.
