COVID-19 Update: Booster Update

New Booster Recommendations

Gov. Andy Beshear signed an executive order Wednesday that qualifies everyone age 18 or older, living or working in Kentucky, to get a COVID-19 vaccination booster six months after their second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines, or two months after a single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine. Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics

Owensboro Health Regional Hospital will continue to offer pediatric COVID-19 vaccine clinics on Tuesdays from 4 to 7 p.m. for children ages 5-11. Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital will hold one more pediatric clinic on November 30 from 4 to 7 p.m. Appointments are required and can be scheduled at OwensboroHealth.org/Vaccine, in MyChart or by calling 270-685-7100, option 6.
