    COVID-19 Update: Booster Recommendations

    New Booster Recommendations

    A second COVID-19 booster shot is now recommended for individuals ages 50 and older, as well as immunocompromised individuals ages 12 and up. The additional dose of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) can be administered four months after receiving an initial booster.
    Visit OwensboroHealth.org/Vaccine to schedule any dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, or walk in at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital vaccine clinic, open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
    Note: The walk-in clinic will be closed next week (April 4-8) during spring break.
