Defining the Lower Division:

The first two years of the BSN degree consist of general education courses. These courses may be completed at any regionally accredited university. The final seven credit hours of required Lower Division coursework (Pathophysiology and Pharmacology) must be taken through the University of Louisville School of Nursing Owensboro Extension prior to applying to Upper Division. Students applying to Lower Division must have a 2.8 minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA and a 3.0 program GPA.
