Game On! A Success!
Owensboro Health Game On! sponsored the matchup between Daviess County High School and Apollo High School Friday night. Owensboro Health team members tossed T-shirts to the crowd and held a halftime shootout contest for students. Mallory Velotta (AHS) and David Crowe (DCHS) competed to make a layup, free throw, three-point shot, and half-court shot in under a minute. Both contestants completed the challenge and scored a $500 cash prize! Through four sponsored games, Game On! has already seen six students take home the $500 grand prize!
This Friday, 1/19/24, Game On! travels to the following schools:
- Grayson County @ Whitesville Trinity
- Ohio County @ McLean County
- Daviess County @ Owensboro High School
Owensboro Health is sponsoring 15 games across our health system’s region this season. Join us at basketball games across the region this season!
