Helping Our Community “Love Their Lungs” in November
As part of our mission to support community health, Owensboro Health is teaming up with the Kentucky Cancer Program for our annual “Love Your Lungs” event series. From November 6 through November 14, team members across the health system will engage in events dedicated to lung health education, featuring an interactive 6-foot lung display, screenings and information on the latest lung care technology.
Each event highlights Owensboro Health’s commitment to raising awareness and offering practical resources. Visitors will have access to information about preventive care, early screening options, and the new Ion robotic bronchoscopy system. Team members from our respiratory therapy, tobacco cessation and cancer care departments will be on-site to offer their expertise.
These events reflect Owensboro Health’s dedication to improving lung health in our communities. We encourage you to share this event schedule and spread the word to family and friends!
