    Owensboro Health Enhances MRI Technology at The Springs

    Owensboro Health Outpatient Imaging at The Springs is proud to announce the installation of the state-of-the-art SIGNA™ Premier Evo MRI system, completed in late September 2024. This upgrade, which began construction in June, represents our commitment to providing the highest level of care and comfort to our patients. 

    The SIGNA™ Premier Evo brings several exciting features to enhance patient experience and diagnostic precision. With a wider 70 cm bore, the new MRI system is designed to reduce anxiety for claustrophobic patients and accommodate individuals of various shapes and sizes. Additionally, advanced AIR™ Recon DL technology allows for faster scan times and superior image quality, enabling our technologists and radiologists to deliver more precise diagnostics. 

    Patients will also benefit from the new built-in sound system, which adds comfort during the scanning process. Beyond these patient-centered enhancements, the SIGNA™ Premier Evo is an environmentally conscious choice, extending the life of our equipment and reducing waste.
