Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital Named One of America’s Best-In-State Hospitals 2025

Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital has been named one of America’s Best-In-State Hospitals 2025 by Newsweek and Statista. This prestigious recognition celebrates hospitals that consistently deliver exceptional patient care and prioritize safety, satisfaction and well-being.
The award is determined by an in-depth evaluation of four pillars: quality metrics, a nationwide survey of healthcare professionals, patient experience and a voluntary PROMS implementation survey. OHMCH ranked among the top 700 hospitals in the nation, demonstrating its commitment to delivering high quality care to the Muhlenberg community and beyond.
Additionally, OHMCH earned special recognition for outstanding performance in patient experience, a testament to the facility’s dedication to compassionate, patient-centered care.
Ed Heath, CEO of Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital, shared his pride in the accomplishment. “This recognition reflects the extraordinary dedication of our entire team. Every provider, nurse and staff member contributes to the exceptional care we offer here in Greenville,” he said. “We are honored to be recognized on a national stage and proud to serve our community with such excellence.”
