Owensboro Health Open House Highlights Nursing Careers
An upcoming Open House event will feature nursing careers and current open positions at Owensboro Health. Anyone interested in nursing opportunities with the health system can talk with hiring managers from various departments on Thursday, February 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
“We are inviting nursing students, as well as currently licensed nurses, to learn how Owensboro Health strongly supports its nursing team,” said Joni Sims, Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Patient Care Services.
“We are proud to have been voted ‘Best Place to Work in Owensboro’ by the readers of Owensboro Living Magazine,” Daniel Blandford, Human Resources Manager of Employment, said. “We hope many potential team members will come to the event and see for themselves why we have received this honor five years in a row.”
Guests will be treated to lunch while they network with nursing leaders and learn about open nursing positions, team-member benefits, education and financial assistance opportunities, employee engagement programs, as well as Nurse Residency and Nursing Professional Advancement Programs.
Participants are welcome to come and go as they’d like.
