Mark Marsh Joins Kentucky Chamber Board of Directors

FRANKFORT, Ky. — Mark Marsh, president and chief executive officer of Owensboro Health, has been elected to serve on the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Marsh will serve on the 60-member board, which represents a cross-section of key business and industry leaders from across Kentucky.

Marsh has over 25 years of leadership experience in the health care industry and has served as president and CEO of Owensboro Health since June 2021. Before joining Owensboro Health, he served as president of Health Central Hospital in Orlando, Florida, where he led the expansion of key service lines and the opening of Horizon West Hospital. He has also held chief executive roles at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tennessee; Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green; and Marshall Medical Center in Lewisburg, Tennessee.

A Cincinnati native, Marsh attended Western Kentucky University. He has been recognized nationally for his contributions to health care, including being named Tennessee’s “Young Healthcare Executive of the Year” by the American College of Healthcare Executives and receiving WKU’s Distinguished Service Medal for professional excellence and community impact.
