The Owensboro Health Home Care Team Recognized for Excellence by the Office of Inspector General
The Owensboro Health Home Care team recently passed the Office of Inspector General inspections for Medicare recertification, re-licensure, and emergency preparedness.
The surveyors spent five days with the department, reviewing processes, accompanying clinicians on home visits, and examining records. Congratulations to the Home Care team, as the surveyors cited only one minor standard-level deficiency.
“The surveyors were very complimentary of the Home Care team and Owensboro Health. I want to thank everyone who participated in the survey with us. I am honored to lead such a dedicated team!” said Jeremy Crowder, Director of Extended Care & Behavioral Health Services.
This is yet another example of how Owensboro Health is a trusted partner in the journey toward better health and stronger communities.
Thank you to our excellent Home Care team!
