    Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Cardiac Rehab Program Earns National Certification

    Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation program has achieved national certification from the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). This certification highlights our commitment to providing top-tier heart care.

    To earn this recognition, our team completed a two-year process of updates and improvements. AACVPR certification is the only peer-reviewed accreditation for cardiac rehab programs. It reflects adherence to the highest standards in safety, care and outcomes.

    Cardiac rehab combines exercise, education and support to help patients build healthier futures. With this certification, OHMCH continues leading the way in heart care for Muhlenberg County.
