    Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center Hosts Fitt Fiddle 5K and Family Fun Walk

    Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center and the Community Health Committee recently hosted the Fitt Fiddle 5K and Family Fun Walk in downtown Leitchfield, attracting over 50 participants. The Grayson County Healthcare Foundation and the Leitchfield Tourism Commission proudly sponsored the event.  

    The 5K course offered a scenic tour of Leitchfield's most beloved sites, with the festive sounds of live fiddle players accompanying runners. For those enjoying the Family Fun Walk, Leitchfield Square was a hub of excitement, featuring lively music, delicious food trucks and a captivating car show.

    The event also featured the signature Fitt Fiddle jingle, composed by Grand Master Fiddler Jimmy Mattingly from Grayson County. Mattingly has been touring with Garth Brooks since 1995, and the jingle can be heard in the featured video.

    As 5K participants crossed the finish line, they high-fived Fitt Fiddle, sharing smiles and a sense of accomplishment. The celebration concluded with a spectacular fireworks show for everyone to enjoy.
