Biography
Dr. Abinash K. Joshi focuses on helping patients attain optimal sleep to not only improve their daily functioning, but also to reduce their risk of critical illnesses, including high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and stroke.
Treatments he utilizes include positive airway pressure treatment for sleep apnea, management of hypoglossal nerve stimulators, insomnia management, treatment for sleep-related movement disorders, and management of various other sleep disorders.
Dr. Joshi graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine and most recently completed his sleep medicine fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center before joining Owensboro Health Medical Group.
In his free time, he enjoys exercising, cooking and spending time with his family. Dr. Joshi is also an avid tennis player and singer (he performed in an a capella group at Vanderbilt).
