Biography
Dr. David Kline is an infectious disease specialist who diagnoses and treats bacterial, viral, fungal and parasitic infections.
He enjoys solving the mystery of puzzling and vague illnesses he encounters. “Infectious disease encompasses all organ systems, all underlying medical and surgical conditions, and requires a tremendous breadth and depth of investigation,” he says.
Dr. Kline earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, completed a residency in internal medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and continued his training with a fellowship in infectious disease while serving in the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps in San Antonio.
Dr. Kline spent several years in Owensboro as a child and now considers himself a naturalized Kentuckian who enjoys the barbequed mutton and burgoo found in Owensboro.
