Emily Townes, PA-C

Physician assistant, Emily Townes, chose medicine as a career because she wanted to be a healer, serving others when they need it most.

“Movement is such a fundamental part of life,” she says. “If people aren't moving as well as they could, they won't have the quality of life that they could. I want to help people move better so they can get back to doing the things they love.”

Originally from Southern Illinois, Emily earned a bachelor of science degree in physiology with a minor in chemistry from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in Carbondale, Illinois. She then earned her master of science physician assistant studies degree (MSPAS) from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa.
