Biography

Dr. Johnny Makhoul graduated from Medical School at the State University of Liège, Belgium. He completed residencies and internships at Center Hositalier Universitaire de Nancy, France, and Cornell University at LaGuardia Hospital, Queens, New York. He completed his training with a Cardiology fellowship at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University at Harlem Hospital Center, New York where he became a junior member of the medical staff. He relocated to Owensboro, Kentucky in 1995 where he has been a cardiologist in private practice ever since. He joined Owensboro Health in 2013. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC).

Dr. Makhoul specializes in non-invasive and invasive diagnosis and treatment of cardiology disease.
