Biography
Dr. Kenneth Camacho joins the Gastroenterology & Hepatology team at Owensboro Health after more than 20 years in private practice in Peoria, Illinois. He performs endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy (EGD), and ERCP. Dr. Camacho also diagnoses and treats digestive and liver diseases.
Dr. Camacho strives to care for his patients as if they were his family members. “It is very gratifying to have an impact on people and even save patients’ lives,” he says.
Dr. Camacho earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed his residency at Northwestern University Medical School, both in Chicago, Illinois. He continued his training with a Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, a Research Fellowship at Mayo Clinic and a Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
