Biography
Kristin Buck, APRN, focuses her care on addiction services, providing medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder and Hepatitis C treatment.
“I enjoy providing a safe place of care without judgment or criminalization to a vulnerable population and seeing the joy in people rebuilding their lives,” she said.
Kristin provides team-oriented care with compassion and consistency. “We strive to destigmatize the process of addiction treatment knowing that relapse is a part of recovery and instilling accountability and hope in our patients through their recovery journey,” she said.
Nursing is a second career for Kristin after many years in Human Resources and Recruiting. She pursued her nursing degree at the urging of her closest childhood friend, and spent many years as a labor and delivery nurse before working with addiction patients.
Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisville, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier University.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family, gardening, sewing and needlework and attending UK football games.
