Kristofer E. Nava, MD

Dr. Kristofer Nava is fellowship-trained in minimally invasive general and bariatric surgery. He is dedicated to the use of laparoscopy, robotics and endoscopy to provide excellent-quality, cost-effective surgical care.

“There is a special place in my heart for my bariatric patients,” says Dr. Nava. “It gives me great joy to see someone change themselves for the better. I am honored to help them improve their lives dramatically.”

Dr. Nava earned his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. He completed his general surgery residency at Western Michigan University School of Medicine in Kalamazoo and a minimally invasive and bariatric surgery fellowship at Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
