Scott Hall, MS, RDN, LD is a registered dietitian working with Owensboro Health Surgical Weight Loss Program. He holds a Master’s Degree in Nutrition Science from Murray State University and graduated cum laude from Western Kentucky University with dual degrees in Nutrition and Dietetics and Biology. He completed his clinical internship with Murray State University.
Scott specializes in providing nutrition education and counseling for obesity and weight management, managing and preventing chronic disease, and optimizing health. He is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Kentucky Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the American Society for Nutrition. Scott maintains a commitment to understanding current health and nutrition research to promote well-informed, evidence-based decisions supporting diet and lifestyle.
As a member of Owensboro Health’s Surgical Weight Loss Program, Scott provides nutrition education and guidance to clients considering and preparing for bariatric surgery. He believes in providing clients with powerful tools that empower weight loss efforts and promote optimal health with sustainable lifestyle changes.
