Shailer B. Martin II, DPM

Podiatrist, Dr. Shailer Martin, specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle, including diabetic foot wounds, plantar fasciitis, hammer toe, flat foot and bunion deformities, neuromas, tendon disorders and sports-related foot and ankle injuries.

Personal experience drew him to choose his medical specialty. “From ingrown toenails to broken bones, I have personally suffered from many ailments of the foot and ankle,” says Dr. Martin. “These experiences gifted me an appreciation and passion for podiatric health.”

Dr. Martin earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He then completed residency training at Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Gundersen Medical Foundation.
