Sylvia Sweatt, APRN

Owensboro native and family nurse practitioner Sylvia Sweatt has been caring for local patients for more than 30 years. She says caring for patients at Owensboro Health Primary Care allows her to have great resources to pass along to her patients and our community. 

Sylvia provides comprehensive primary care for patients aged 12 and older. She diagnoses and treats both acute and chronic illnesses, provides wellness visits and CDL exams, and offers simple dermatology services. 

“Knowing my patients and their families brings me the greatest joy,” says Sylvia. “I want to be a part of their health journey, helping restore them to optimal health throughout all the changes that life brings. Helping people feel their best is an honor for me.” 

Sylvia earned her nursing degree from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green and her masters of science in nursing from University of Southern Indiana in Evansville.
