Tabitha Roberts' brother had severe asthma as a child, and caring for him inspired her to seek a career in nursing. She now considers it a privilege to care for heart-failure patients at Owensboro Health.

“My grandmother passed away from chronic heart failure,” she says. “I love helping my patients have a higher quality of life with more modern medicine than my grandmother was able to have.”

After caring for patients in both hospital and home-care settings in Evansville for many years, Tabitha is happy to be practicing closer to home at Owensboro Health.

When not caring for patients, Tabitha and her teenage kids spend much of their spare time in and near the water.
